We’re very excited to be heading to CloseUp Festival in May to speak to artists and enjoy some new music and immaculate vibes.
New line-up announced
Yesterday, CloseUp Festival announced a new wave of additions to its 2026 line-up — with Girl Group, Finn Foxell, Sandhouse and Alphabet joining this year’s bill. The 11th edition of the London three-day new music festival at Colours Hoxton, takes place on 22, 23 and 24 May.
The newly announced acts join an already stacked lineup led by headliners Home Counties, Jimothy Lacoste and Pale Blue Eyes, alongside rising names including Lizzie Esau, Only Real, The Slow Country, Just For Fun, This Is A Fever, Monks and Harry Crane.
On the 2026 edition of the festival, CloseUp founder Sam Tucker said:
“We are so back. CloseUp Festival, our biggest yearly event, returns with 2 full days and a warm-up party in 2026. Announcing in line with an entire CloseUp rebrand, and our best ever lineup (if we do say so ourselves). CloseUp Festival is now in its 11th year, which is quite wild even for us to say. As a fully independent company, being able to continuously book our favourite artists year in, year out, is nothing short of a privilege. We’ve spotlighted 100+ artists of varying genres, backgrounds and levels in our decade in the sun, and have no intentions of slowing down any time soon.”
Why CloseUp and bite are a perfect match
Closeup Festival continues to platform new and emerging artists, while giving audiences the chance to see tomorrow’s headliners in a rare, up-close and intimate setting. Set across three eclectic days in central London, the festival is built around discovery and catching bands and artists just before they break, all within one of London’s most iconic music venues.
