bite mag is a London-based digital and print publication, championing creative fearlessness. We are a global community dedicated to nurturing and harnessing creativity in all spaces – art, creative writing, fashion, film, music and photography. We are an anti-niche, advocating for bold risk-takers who are unafraid to mix and match genres.

founder’s note

I have always been unbearably indecisive, which didn’t bode well for me choosing a career. I wanted to be an artist, but I also wanted to be a singer. I wanted to be an author and editor, but I also wanted to be a gig photographer. Why did following one path mean sacrificing the others? Call me ambitious, call me hungry — I still want to be all of those things and more.

Having spoken to people who felt the exact same way that I do, I wanted to create a safe space where multi-hyphenates could rebel against this idea that we have to choose one thing and just do that. Forever.

I wanted to remind people that these boundaries we build don’t actually exist. If you want to take a bite out of something new, do it. Maybe you stick with it for a while, maybe you try it once and think, nah, that’s not for me. But to be creative is to be brave! To be brave is to be creative!
